Do NOT use red Koolaid in your toilet. It can stain the bowl. Like dumping red wine on white carpet and leaving it.

Dunk your freshly painted nails into ice water. It dries instantly without the chemicals in hairspray that dry your cuticles

Remember that to disinfect with alcohol it must be 70% or higher… also it needs to dry on its own so don’t wipe the surface dry or you have simply cleaned it not disinfected it.

If you clean your vacuum, does that make you a vacuum cleaner?

Thanks for the fork tip for hanging pictures, how many times I've struggled.
And the graphite tip for locks😀

You know when it comes to vacuums we really should raise our voices and ask these companies to make all removable rollers so that we not only can take the hairs off or whatever but wash them for crying out loud! Who wants to go over a rug that they maybe have shampooed or even a floor that they mopped with the same dirt y germ infested brush roll? What's up with all these companies that make these vacuumes ? ? ? ALL VACUUMS SHOULD COME WITH REMOVABLE AND I MEAN EASILY REMOVABLE BRUSH ROLLS !

I have tried out the toilet bowl cleaner on cleaning the grout and it does work. I also used it on the shower walls. I had great tenants so ckeaning was not a huge issue since they were very clean.
I had a house that I rented out to a family of 4. They lived there for 18yrs and I can honestly say that I never had a problem with their rent. The man was always on time with the rent. His wife took good care of the house and property. They moved out when they bought a house. I was heartbroken to see them go but happy for them.
I know not every person that rents out property gets good tenants. I was lucky.
I now rent that same house to an elderly couple and one pet.
It's very sad when some renters who destroy property by not cleaning and adding junk around the outside or inside the property really mess it up for other people.
All I can say to property owners who rent is to be on your toes and always check your properties. It's your most valued investment.

Remember, that if you use Dawn to remove stains, lower the amount of laundry soap you use.

For the air freshener, I've always poured fabric softener with a little bit of water to dilute it and it smells amazing!

Very useful hacks. My vacuum gets tons of hair caught because of our long hair. I use a seam ripper to cut the hairs off the rollers. It cuts tough the hairs easier.

I think the rubber glove would work to remove pet hair from fabric without using the stick hairspray - I wouldn't want the residue on the textiles.
I wonder if silver polish would be safer for your silverware over the long run.
Hairspray also works well on ink-stained fabric, especially if treated quickly and before washing the garment.
Magic erasers are also great for removing marks from painted surfaces.

WARNING: Always protect the surface your working on. Alcohol will leave a white spot on varnish, it is flammable and it may damage certain surfaces such as delicate fabrics.. It is always a good idea to test in a inconspicuous spot first. : D

FYI, for crayon you can also use a hair dryer to melt the crayon and then wipe it away.

Kitty litter cleans grout extremely well too. Simply sprinkle and sweep it across the grout.

I had renters that had never cleaned anything for five years. I honestly didn’t know if cleaning it was even possible, gasoline and matches seemed more realistic. One of the cleaning hacks that I did have huge success with was using toilet cleaner on the grout between the ceramic tiles in the bathrooms. The results were amazing and the bathroom floors honestly looked brand new. (The carpet and kitchen floors didn’t fare as well and had to be replaced. I will NEVER rent again!)

I’ve always put a dime size or less of baking soda in my boys shoes. Takes the smell right out! And keeps it good for a week or so.
I didn’t know toothpaste had so many uses!
The only thing I’d use toothpaste for was if I got a pimple. I tried everything u can think of to help with my pimples. The only thing that worked was dabbing a tiny bit of toothpaste on it after a shower. It burned but it was always gone the next day!
Thanks for the tips!

The best trick for getting deodorant off your clothes is by rubbing with dry pantyhose or knee-hi’s. It doesn’t stretch the area out, doesn’t leave any fiber transfer like with a cloth, and takes only seconds. Thank you for the rest of the tips! I just made the essential oil spray.

8:07 so the ink doesn't bleed through after the alcohol treatment, put some folded up paper or a plastic zip lock bag between the layers...Remove before washing, obviously. Blotter paper would work even better but I don't think you can get it anymore...
