Andrea, I love your videos. Just for your information about the WD40. My husband used to sell windows and door and the WD40 is not a good idea for the tracks on the doors. It causes dirt and dust to collect on the rollers. I am sure the insect idea works though. He said you can use silicone which is a lot better.

I redesign empty TISSUE BOXES and use them for SO MANY different purposes: we repurpose our plastic grocery bags…as waste basket liners: I fold them and store them in the tissue boxes. I use the tissue boxes in our dresser drawers for underwear; socks; small items etc; in our bed stands for night items and other essentials; on our desks for smaller books 📚 and assorted art supplies…the list goes on 😂

Thought I’d share … I fold flat sheet in half, and then in half again. Then I place 2 pillow cases on top - flat. Finally fitted sheet get folded similar to how you showed here. Then I fold all of them together right to left, then finally top to bottom. This way I grab one set- all together- at the same time. I’ve done this for years. Do the same thing with towel sets, starting with largest towel, add hand towel and the wash cloth. Again I’m grabbing one full set instead of looking through linen closet for various sizes. ❤

After many, many years of losing socks I said enough !
I purchased some small lingerie bags from Dollar Tree so now when i take my socks offI I put them directly into the bag which hangs from a Command hook on the wall next to the hamper ( on it may work too). No more lost socks as they go into the washer (and dryer) together and come out together!!

To shine stainless stelle sinks, try white vinegar after plain dishsoap, and dry. Economic and eco friendly.

Love how nice your folding of sheets lookup just use the same set over & over! Off the bed, into the wash, straight back to the bed!!

When I take my socks off, I fasten them at the top with a safety pin. I leave the pin on in the washer, dryer, and storage. They stay together and I never lose my socks.

Great tips! I use those tension rods in every closet....across the end of my cloths closet for belts and scarves, under the sinks to hang cleaning bottles with trigger grips to free up floor space for cleaning totes which hold bottles, sponges and brushes. In the bath closet I use one to coral extra hangers til I need them after laundering my tops. In the laundry I put a wire shelving unit meant for over toilet for cleaning supplies, added s hooks for mops, brooms, etc on the outside edges and I keep a hamper in the open space at the bottom. Love organizing tips to make it easier" a place for everything and everything in its place" 🤣😂🤣😂🧓 TFS👏

Andrea. Don’t use downy or any other softener. Use white regular vinegar. I haven’t I
Used downy for years. Try it. Your clothes will not smell like vinegar. They come out cleaner. And you save lots of money ❤

I am now a big fan of Barkeeper's friend. I have a bathroom sink that's now 40 years old, and it's beginning to rust just around the sink hole ring. I let the solution soak on there and take a toothbrush to it and it minimizes the rust. But really, it's time for a new bathroom sink.

I do use the KonMarie way of folding clothes. I ❤ the methods for folding the fitted sheets. I still want to see a video just for folding sheets and clothes, as it would be easier to find the information. Instead look through all your videos trying to find your sheet folding methods among them. Instead of the scraper tool you use to remove the sticker, I recycle the plastic bread tie clips and use them as scrapers.

As always Andrea, you're a beacon of light in my often cluttered life, especially with having children. I use many of your hacks myself, and teach them to my teenagers as well to help them prepare for their future lives and homes without mommy. We're ALL grateful to you for making our lives easier and more manageable ❤❤❤❤😊

Your hack about the clothespin/sock reminds me of what I do when I'm cooking. Inside an upper kitchen cabinet door, I used a command strip to fasten a clothespin---and I just clip my recipe card to that and it's right at eye level and up out of the mess.

Andrea this was great. I do socks in a similar manner but they end up just throw in the drawer rather than organized in a way I can see them easily. I also do a partial folding method with fitted sheets but packing a pocket makes way more sense. This old lady thanks you fir your brilliant hacks. Keep em coming!
