A hundred years ago I had my own cleaning business and from bad experience I encourage you to always(!) wear gloves and a mask. As a cleaning enthusiast, I'll share some of my hacks. For the electric toothbrush holder, grab a cotton make up pad, cut a hole in it and put it over the base of the electric toothbrush holder, it will catch the water from the toothbrush so no more gross build up on the base.

I also saw a showerhead hack but haven't tried it yet. Using a toothpick (the bottle brush kind) to clean the holes in a shower head.
