How do I get more work as a Magento developer?

One of the questions I get asked sometimes is how do I get more jobs as a Magento developer?

First off, developers at a certain skill level aren't really asking this question right now. There is so much demand that they are getting bombarded by inbound requests.

If you are finding yourself struggling to get jobs right now, I'd look real closely at Magento 2 certifications.

Those are definitely in demand right now. If I see someone with a Magento 2 Professional Developer certification, let alone 2 or 3 or 4 certifications, that's a good indication.

If you're in a position where you're like how do I get more work and you don't have more certifications, I'd focus real heavily on that if it were me.

That's probably one of the most important tips I'd give. There are of course other things you can focus on but that would be the main thing.
