Back to the Future - The Libyans Find Doc Brown: Marty (Michael J. Fox) documents Doc's (Christopher Lloyd) departure in the DeLorean with a video camera.



FILM DESCRIPTION:
In this 1980s sci-fi classic, small-town California teen Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is thrown back into the '50s when an experiment by his eccentric scientist friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) goes awry. Traveling through time in a modified DeLorean car, Marty encounters young versions of his parents (Crispin Glover, Lea Thompson), and must make sure that they fall in love or he'll cease to exist. Even more dauntingly, Marty has to return to his own time and save the life of Doc Brown.

It's sad that some people think Emmet survived and is wearing the bullet proof vest here. When Marty has yet to travel back in time yet. This isn't a predestination, not yet at least. The predestination doesn't occur until AFTER he changed the timeline.

The thing that really gets me about this scene is that you can hear Einstein howling when Doc gets shot. Marty isn't the only one who had to watch his best friend die.

Are there 2 versions of the movie? In particular this scene, I always knew the van was a VW, cuz my uncle ran a shop in the 70’s and 80’s and they worked on VW’s and had a pretty big scrap yard of them.

Anyways. I watched this movie about 4/5 years ago and the van was an odd looking Asian van, brown I think.

So my kids wanted to watch this last night and the van is obviously a VW in this version?

Am I loosing my mind?
