This scene is better than a half of modern movies.

I don't know what else I can say about this scene that hasn't already been said, but seriously - this is one of the finest moments in cinema history.

I swear every time I see this scene, I don’t think Doc can connect the plugs in time.

I saw this in the theater when I was 8. From the title, I thought my Mom was bringing me to some boring thing about the past.

From the first moment of the film, I was hooked. I wanted to see it again when it was over. I ended up with the trilogy on VHS about 7 years later. I watched those suckers to death. A decade later, I ended up with the DVD trilogy and I loved it even more.

A couple months ago, I sat down with my five year old son and watched all three films with him in a row. He never left my side except for our bathroom or drink/snack breaks and he was hooked just like me, hinging on every single moment of the three films -- but, for myself, re-watching the first film, I was struck by how flawless it is. Endlessly clever. The little details they include to the point where you had to be paying attention. The movie is insanely deep.

And seeing it with my kid was awesome. :)

I swear, every time I watch this movie, this climax ALWAYS has me on the edge of my seat. It is THAT good.

Though I know that Doc will eventually be alright, this scene catches my suspense every single time. The Musical gives him a fear of heights, which makes it especially poignant that he braves his fear to save Marty.

This movie is really close to my heart. Such lovable characters, interesting story, gripping screenplay, brilliant fusion of sci-fi and comedy with great attention to detail. I still remember, when I watched it for the first time in high school, I literally cried at the scene where george and Lorraine finally kiss. Love you Robert zemeckis sir and hats off to all the cast and crew. ❤️

After everything Marty did to fix the future, he has to ride his chariot back out of the dream.
At 17, that's how I saw this scene.

I like Doc's facial expression at 0:17, he is trying so hard after several attempts, that face explains it all 😂

Few movies put you in the moment like this one. I wouldn't say its a perfect film, but very close.

I don't know why, but I always felt that this is a car chase scene.

I was always curious as to why the storm ended completely exactly after the DeLorean disappears
