He didn’t ask her to renovate, in-fact he told her he is fine living in a flat, she is the one who insisted on spending half a million dollars of credit cards to renovate the villa just to live her dream house with her man. I have seen the whole episode and i don’t blame him for her spending, it is HER choice

At the beginning of the season, Josh said he had just sold his house. So, how is it that he's completely broke? Also, Lily chose to renovate her house rather than stay in her previous apartment (apparently, she already owned that house). She also chose to renovate the property and add unnecessary things like an elevator in a two story home, rather than save money by only small renovations.

Accounting for the language barrier, these two really need to have a long open, honest conversation with all cards laid out on the table.
