This channel has helped me gain a far greater understanding of personal finance than I could have ever imagined as a 19 year old. Was making pretty good money as a teenager and was wasting it trying to fit in a look cool, Luckily I never went into debt but up until about 6 months ago was pretty much spending every dollar I made, now I am extremely frugal and save and invest every week and I’m 1000x happier living frugally than when I was wasting money trying to fit in. Caleb is the GOAT🐐

I think this lady has more drive to fix her financial situation than anyone else I’ve ever seen on this show

You can tell this is just a pained and very sweet person. Strong but has gone through a lot. I’m rooting for her

You can tell this woman is in therapy. She’s so secure in her emotions despite having the worst luck in the world. So happy to see this episode.

As a librarian, I'm *loving* all of the comments saying, "Go to your local library for free audiobooks!" Post-pandemic, many libraries will even let you sign up online and send you a temp e-card to use while they mail you your card.

I love that Caleb usually reacts positively to everyone’s income and doesn’t judge. It enforces that it’s not how much you make, it’s what you do with it.

I’m so proud of this interviewee. Accountability, initiative, honesty, even in the face of extreme adversity. I feel like she could have made a million excuses, and she just didn’t. She just explained why she made her choices and never said it was okay. Such respect. She’s got this! More guests with this vibe, Caleb. She deserves this help!

Hey Caleb, my girlfriend was one of your biggest fans. Unfortunately she passed away on June of this year, we would watch your videos together eating sushi. You and her helped me learn a lot about my financial education. I want to thank you because of you and your videos we got to spent so many nice moments together.

She should get a library card. They have free audio books and some have access to courses. The library is so underrated. (I hope its never defunded)

Former HEB Manager here: Nickie, if you're serious about making a go at HEB, I cannot recommend enough that you need to go to another department living/MIC) and get on a management track. Getting on a management track in Market is going to take entirely too much time for your situation. They are going to rapidly expand in DFW in the next 5 years and they are in desperate need of managers and currently do not have an existing network in DFW, so they're currently pulling from other regions (Houston/Central) to meet their current needs. A lot of these management roles top out at $100k plus with a 70-85k median salary. There is no ceiling with HEB if you're willing to grind it out in grocery...

I'd love to see a follow-up on her situation in however many months. She seems really dedicated to fixing her situation, and it would be great to see a (possible) success story.

When she said she and her boyfriend bought a house together but it was in his name and his parents didn't want her to stay there, my heart broke and I wanted more story about how they felt fine being that shitty after she experienced the worst thing in her life.

Retirement for some people becomes their bondage in poverty because they failed to invest with the little they have on their active years of working, this is an error we need to start working on now, I’ll advise that while you still can work and earn also take some money aside and invest in your future after retirement so this classification won’t have to be yours

She’s been the best guest so far. I watched the entire thing without skipping.

“Everything you’re saying is right”. That’s something I’ve not heard on this show before. With some discipline, you’re debt free in 12 months! You got this!

This channel changed my mindset. My cards have been carrying a balance for like 4 years.
Caleb inspired me to go get a better job, and pay off my cards. I just got my first paycheck from my new job- and paid off 1 out of 4 cards in full. LETS GO
