Paroxysmal supra-ventricular tachycardia (PSVT) aborted with adenosine
It is a type of arrhythmia . Diagnosis is made when ecg shows tachycardia ( more than 100 in adults, 220 in neonates and more than 160 in children) , absent P waves, narrow QRS complexes , Regular RR interval.

Drugs used in treatment are adenosine, calcium channel blockers ( diltiazem & verapamil) , Amiodarone.

This video is so amazing. I had PSVT for 5 years through puberty and would have tachycardic episodes. My BPM at its highest was 210. I was also given Adenosine in the ER to bring back normal cardiac rhythm. Amazing stuff. Thanks for sharing this video so I could see what my heart rhythm looked like. Cheers.

My father has sinus tachycardia, inverted T wave and slight ST T abnormality his heart rate was 104 bpm

As the adenosine takes effect, and the rate gradually slows (this graduality is already a bit suspicious), the downslope of the T wave changes from convex, to notched with the notch moving "down" the wave, until finally it becomes fully concave, and a clear, separate P wave emerges. The distance from the "notch" (& eventually the P wave) to the following QRS remains constant, and if you measure the same interval back from each QRS during the initial tachycardia, it falls at the peak of the T wave - where the unexpected convexity starts.

Also, toward the end of this video, the rate seems to gradually increase again.

Was this actually PSVT, or was it sinus tach?

IF this was a monitor on an actual patient, it was very convenient not showing their facial expressions or hearing their utterances when the jolt of adenosine hit them.
