This happened to me for many many years. Pulse used to get up to 270, sometimes Adenosine worked but sometimes it didn’t. I tried every possible medication and nothing really worked. Had 7 ablations (one of them through open surgery) and ended up with a damaged vagal nerve that caused my heart to be continuously stuck at 130 or so even on rest. Ultimate solution: eliminate my natural pacemaker (the electric system of the heart) and receive a permanent artificial pacemaker for life. It was honestly lifesaving.

Would’ve been nice to see the rhythm and that pause when they gave it to him

This is a real emergency. Many people go to the er with the most ignorant non emergent stuff and never realize that there is people with true life threatening emergencies.

It's kind of intense to watch the heart stop to get converted back into sinus tach

Svt is a very scary tachycardia
200-245 bpm/heart pulses if you have it,
Can be treated from (200-245)-(130-140)-(80-100) bpm/heart pulses.

I literaaly had this happen last night at the er, took a hot shower, noticed my heartbeat was faster than normal, went to the er it was 242 bpm... Blowing hard on a tube trick brought it down quick but it was sure scary nonetheless

Once i had svt episode.

My pulse rate was 244

It was lasting for 30 mins.

I took a long breath as much i can

Heart Rate was instantly fell down to 130.

Then i taken a tablet in hospital. Then its came to 90.

So my suggestion is whenever you got svt. Take a long breath and hold the breath .

Repeat it for 5 times. Definitely it will help you.

May god bless you all. 😊
