Easy Way to Mix Thinset Mortar for Tile --- The Beast Mixer

preview_player
Показать описание
The Beast Mixer is a rubber liner that keeps your 5 gallon buckets clean. The beast mixer is reusable and made for mixing thinset mortar and grout. At the end of the day, simply wipe down the sides of the liner and leave the rest on the bottom. The next day pull the liner out, and the thinset will come out clean.

You can find him on Instagram @beastmixer or on Facebook. He’s just one dude making them out of his home in Wyoming. Send him a message and he’ll get you one!

Ugh, why didn’t I know about this cool liner a few months ago. I burned through too many buckets re-doing my master shower. Thx for the heads up, Issac! Love being your tile student.

Here in Texas everyone I work with calls it "fleck", as in: "we still need to let the mud fleck up for a few minutes, that's why we're still on our smoke break"

Just a DIY’er here, but man, that thing would be NICE to have. I can only imagine how nice it would be for a contractor.

Nice! I saw Maxkil from Australia used one a few years ago, he uses it for drywall mud. But I could not find it anywhere to buy!
Makes a lot o sense. But I like mixing the 3 gal buckets at a time, hoping they'll make one for that. I'd think it'd be super convenient for these hi end condos that cannot have Any dust or washing in the units, and nowhere to wash outside...

Awesome product but i must say I can't wait for the day that I work fast enough to go through that much thinset in one go!

It’s cool and remind me of mixer liners and baking tin liners; which, is where the idea most likely came from.
So cool. Like I’ve said, there’s so many similarities with Trade work and Culinary and here’s another example 😃
Thx Issac for showing us, cheers✌🏻

Ha nice. I had an electrician who had a cut half of rubber basketball and used mortar in that. He used it to mortar the opening in the wall where the main was coming in. Thought it was strange but easy clean up.

You can also turn it inside out if you need it to be completely clean.

With your audience, these guys really need to at least "comp" you some free product. Great demo on that liner.

Looks like a cool product, they should sell it next to the mortar mixes. As a DIYer I was confused what to do with the leftover thinset in the bucket. Tried cleaning it out the next day but it was too much of a pain, and the buckets are cheap, so...more buckets!

I was looking at the bucket saver. After wasting 5 buckets during my master bath renovation. Would have helped a lot.
