Whatever you do, do not use sinks/tubs/drians inside your house to clean out any tools, hands, or the bucket, don't ask how I know. Get a bucket of warm water to use to clean off hands/tools if necessary and discard the clean-up water outside.

Great lesson. Here's a tip: if you have an older single-speed drill (mine is a fast 500 RPM), simply "pulse" the trigger. You will quickly get the feel for it.

Looks a bit thick to me. Don't you butter the underside of the tile as well. A notched trowel is OK if the floor is flat and the tiles do not need to go to a specific height.

The bag clearly stated 5 to 5.5 qts and you used 3! Is 5 qtrs for the whole bag or what? The directions are not clear on this at all.
