Bhai govt ungliyu pa nacha ye gi...
I think if u r better in your profession like software er or u r iim Or iit passout u will grow more n more in private but in govt u will be limited..
Only way will be by obeying ruling party, so that after retirement u will get party tickets or posts of governer..

But the opportunities are very kess in govt sector and about the promotions govt employees have to wait for a large period where as private sectors provides alot of oppurtunities as well as in the end you get respect ir power in society when you you earn more abs its a fact yeah a govt job offers a secured kind of respect and power But all of which matter is money in the end the more money the more respect you earns if you don't want to grow in terms of money ir career go with govt jobs and if your goal is to earn money and get more oppurtunities and grow in career fastly then go with private

Sir, I am having difficulty understanding this. I think as a DM a person will learn a whole lot more - you have so many different experiences be it organising kumbh mela, conducting elections, dealing with disasters or law and order situations. It teaches you how to lead, how to manage people, how to plan for things, how government works. These kind of unique experiences one cannot have anywhere else.
Learnings in private sector like learning a new computer language can become boring after a few years; but in IAS, IPS you may be posted in different departments like health, education.. sometimes field posting, later on policy level, so you get to have varied experiences in life isnt it?

Seems like a one sided perspective. Private sector jobs would require you to complete business targets and to channelize your efforts to maximize the profits of the company. No such nonsense in a government sector job.

In govt job system do not allow you to learn or innovate new thing

simply remove the job security from all the government jobs, set some zero tolerance policy, found guilty = termination not suspension
