I had my dog spayed at 6 months of age. I have no regrets.
In order for me to get her spayed and her first rabies shots for free, I had to get her Spayed, I had no choice.
I also did not want the responsibility of taking care of a litter of puppies. Too much hard work taking care of puppies or kittens.
Spaying and neutering saves pets from unwanted pregnancies, STDs, cancers.
And yes, dogs can get stds.
