Mohgwyn Palace, where you shoot the bird is a great place to test out weapons/builds. There's a ton of Albinaurics there and they hit like a Mack truck.

For real though, of course full omen set with sword of Milos. Wraith calling bell, omen bairn, and regal omen bairn as consumables.
Talismans
Erdtree +2 of course
Radogan’s soreseal
Green turtle
Bull goat to get through the full heavy combo from the weapon, you get 86 poise from omen so might as well use it
You can also switch out your bull goat for a resistance talisman if poise is not viable
I’m still workshopping it, so i might edit this again later, but one of the points is to get the weapon art combo off to build up bleed faster than expected.

Been trying to make a reasonable build but I’m no good at maths so these videos help a lot with how to make a build

what I personally did was go through the game and NG+1 collecting absolutely everything at level 80 with +17/+7 weapons backed up my save, levelled to level 90 backed up my save and so forth. Now I have a level 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150 build all backed up with every weapon in the game no need to make any more fresh builds unless I wanna PVP below level 80.

Claws are hella underrated. I have 2 raptor claws, one with bloodhound step, , I have no range, and the other with a parry, both +25, with occult affinities, plus the rotten winged sword insignia, millicents prosthesis, godskin swaddling cloth, and lord of bloods exultation, with the white mask and raptors black feathers. The buffs go crazy, and the R1/L1 combo is 6 attacks long, half of which hit twice. How are these not being talked about more?!

is there a reason you were dual wielding claws instead of 2 handing them? the 2 handing has the exact same move set with r1 and uses a block for l1.
