Nice build 👍 I think you should add Ranni's Dark Moon instead of Zamor Ice Storm for the debuff and possible frost proc. Also ZIS is too slow, unless you have Endure... Using a shield and the Greatshield talisman is another nice defensive option. Play defensively, do guard counters, stance break and follow up with Carian Sovereignty 💪

you can use the spellblade set instead of rakshasas armor
you get 2% for the weapon art damage for each piece while not suffering the 2% damage you take per piece like you do on rakshasa
you should end up with more defense and also light rolls but you lack the damage for other spells if you use them which i would not recommend since you need the dragoncrest shield to get more armor out of it overall

I use knight's greatsword with this build, and as the fourth talisman I use dragoncrest greatshield talisman, as a wizard I like to use Malenia great rune

I think you should use the greatshield talisman instead the sword talisman because u never get full hp to catch the spell unless you no hit player but for newbie i suggest use greatshield for more defense buff

Since this is a DLC build, what's a good build to use for the main game while working up to this?

I have been messing around with similar variations using CS AOW. A saw another build where they added Endure to a Dagger and then quickly switch to get CS off. Great Blade Phalanx can also be a great spell to use with this build. I am in no way good at this game, but was able to beat a bear pretty easily with similar setup and light rolling with SpellBlade set. If you spec into Endurance enough you can have Rakasha armor variation and even Solitude set with Great Jar. I wanted to try 2 Daggers with Rakasha and light roll, but seems like even with Endure you really need HyperArmor from GreatSword to get off CS and not be interrupted. Curious to try light rolling against a boss as I always assumed too squishy for my skill level, but man you can dodge so far!!

Isn't it most convenient if you just use the raksasha armor set then switch the fourth talisman? Like between the blade of mercy and dragoncrest greatshield talisman?

No good on dlc ng+7. Damage is good but not as "nuke boss" level unless u are doing tons of hardswap. Desperate to find window for opening. Cant trade hit for stance break (bosses have more stance hp and most of them have chain attack). I think there are 2 ways to play around with this aow. Put on misericorde as 2nd main hand weapon then swap in when main ice spear or dmgs proc frost or stance break (riposte into fully charge). Or u can play with a dagger with endure then swap into fully CS charge claymore/ iron gs (with barb flask) so u chain stance break in like 30s on 80 base stance hp boss
