Thank you. It's much easier to continue on my journey to reach MAX level in just limgrave knowing that it will only take 274 days and 14 hours more.

Don't forget the group bonuses. If you join some multiplayer groups, which is as simple as writing in their names in the multiplayer menu, you'll occasionally get a totally free 5% boost to your rune gains. Also, if you can raise your damage to the point that you're one-shotting Giants, at 99 strength and Dex for instance, you get a bonus 20% runes per kill. Might shave a whole day or two off your farming.

I think level 300 gets you close enough where you can kill any boss fairly quickly. And it still takes some time to level up. Can’t imagine grinding this much.

Dont forget about the golden eyed enemy bonus that applies a rune multiplier on a random enemy every now and then, i think it is 3-4 times greater

Now I want to know how many runes the Tarnished would get from un-aliving every single *being* in the game. Without dying. Is it possible for a mortal to ascend to max. level? Or is it something that is only possible for the undead to achieve?

I feel like one thing these videos sometimes fail to consider is that, eventually, while you're leveling up, you'll eventually reach a point where you start killing the five giants a lot faster, thus increasing your runes per minute up to a hypothetical maximum of killing each of them in one hit, or depending on where exactly they're standing, maybe more than one per strike.

I imagine getting the erdtree rain buff would help speed things up as well to some degree, as it boosts all enemy rune drops for as long as it lasts
