I had a strange JW interaction today. They don't usually come by but I've been disfellowshipped for 22 years (and they've lost so many people they may be easing up on the "do not call" list) so I guess it's ok now? Anyhow an elder I knew as a child came to the door and we chatted for 20 mins. I was explaining how happy I was with my church and how amazing my relationship with Jesus is. Then he said "well ya know God comes to each of us in different ways. We just hope that we chose the right one". He's been an elder for over 40 years. I'm not sure if he was maybe waking up, maybe the JWs are being pushed slowly to accept a one world religion, or if he's so used to lying he just does it naturally?? Cause that was Crazy to hear from an elder!
The brainwashing is seriously hard core. There's a look in their eyes that's really hard to deal with. I clearly remember the day the veil came off my eyes. It literally felt like a fog lifted. The air even felt different.

back in the last days before armagedon just before 1975.we were told by the circuit overseer to say we would not be calling for much longer.i remember a housholder saying " well thats good cos im sick of you " and shut the door..ha ha great fun .
