How to Restore a Desktop Shortcut That You've Accidentally Deleted

In this video I'll show you how you can restore a desktop shortcut that you've accidentally deleted on your Windows 10 PC. If you've deleted a desktop shortcut, this will go into the recycle bin, which can be restored. If not, you can select the Windows icon in the bottom left-hand corner and simply drag the shortcut back to the desktop.

hi so im really frustrated right now not at this video but at myself i moved discord to the recycling bin and i wanted to restore it afterwards but it wasnt there and it's still in the taskbar but i don't know how to out it back onto the homescreen i tried this and it didn't work if it added it and said "update.exe." has been moved or changed and will ot work properly. do you want to delete this shortcut. I still want it back the only way to it is from the taskbar and its really annoying anything you know really helps please thanks

I recently moved my Desktop file that contained most of my applications and game save files... I was trying to move or find a steam file and I didnt something that moved my desktop file into my documents tab. Now my games and most apps are gone on my homescreen. I moved stuff around to get my games back (some of them) but when I load up a game none of my progress is there. Kinda wanna just give up and be done with games cause I have no idea what to do. Ive looked and looked and just cant find what I need to fix this... I think ive messed up beyond repair and it is what it is. If this makes sense and you know what I could do please let me know 👍🏻

Thanks alot for the info working nicely one suggestion for Recycle Bin...GO TO ITEM TYPE AND SELECT short cut a lot easier to find your deleted short cut especially when you have a lot of old files in there
