Hope is not what fills me when I think of my generation 💀

As a Gen-Z I think this Gen-Z praise is not really deserved. Yeah a small minority of us are pushing back but we need to look at the majority statistics.

As an older (ish) gen z I appreciate it when people don't over generalize my generation.
I think the internet hasn't done my gen any favors, but it is important to remember that no generation is perfect. But because of the internet it's really easy to see the shortcomings of everyone, regardless of which generation they're a part of.

I’m a gen Z and I do see a change recently, I myself started going to church alone with out my family, and I also have a genz friend who goes with his brothers(but not parents), and recently last week my brother(also genz) decided to come with me. I also see more people being vocal about their faith on instagram and other social media. I think people forget that the genz generation is the most compassionate, now don’t get me wrong some people have tricked us into protesting and rioting ect. But in general I think that they are more active in the social climate because they generally want to make the world a better place, unfortunately they do get fooled into supporting the wrong causes most the time, but that can change over time.

There is another generation after Z called Generation Alpha.

It's the Alpha *and* the Omega.

I disagree. Yes, the Gen Z boys are leaning conservative, overwhelmingly so. But the Gen Z girls are every bit as liberal as their predecessors are. In fact, the political and ideological divide between Gen Z men and women are the highest it has ever been.

So while yes, Gen Z is more conservative than liberal, but that doesn't mean much at all. Because the number is like 5 to 10 percent higher, that's it!

It's funny, as an early millennial I've noticed that Gen Z has a certain look. They've all got baby faces or something, it's hard to describe. Maybe I'm crazy...

I think that for us on the traditional side of Gen Z that we are the first of a transitional period. Stay close to the Church and the Sacraments and we will raise a much stronger generation to come.

I find atheism is less and less popular these days, atheism was very much a gen X and millennial thing. The youth seem to be much more theistic or at least agnostic, its a start to the Truth.

For what it's worth, the trend is:
The Older Generation almost always claims to see real answers and hope for the future based on their impression of the next generation coming up.
Then the next generation, upon arrival, blames everything on the very generation before them that so blindly placed so much hope in them -- then the new gen goes on to be no different (perhaps a bit worse)than the last.

Based Isabel. I do also see this in my peers of Gen Z and surprisingly even Gen Alpha. Sometimes Gen Alpha scares me with how staunchly conservative they are lol
