Because of ppl like him - there's so much confusion about the difference! He's performing two rdls, there's NO deadlift here.

Let be clear here. Those are both rdl. If you want to touch the floor and transform it in a dealift, drop your hips in the second step of the movement. RDL on the left is bad.

Correction: the RDL on the left is proper form. The RDL on the right will result in low back injury

There is only one roman deadlift there seems to be a ton of misrepresentation of the exazise from all kind of NEW fitness influencers, I haved traind Roman deadlift for over 17 years and the exazise is performed as on the right screen except you never go below the kneecaps because you will eventually sign your self up for a back injury. Plus you lose the tension in your back that your want to keep when coming down to low, you can also stop slightly above your kneecaps, your won't get more the longer you go down people have this really confused up. Train safe

Left is a stiff legged deadlift and the right one is rdl. The movement in the legs is greater on the regular deadlift

Basically the same thing. Listen 👂, NO ONE should be doing a conventional/traditional deadlift . If the weight is in front of/ RDL or Romanian Sumo .
