Senior Citizens Above 70 To Get Free Treatment Up To Rs '5 Lakh' Under Ayushman Bharat Scheme

Seniors 70 years of age and more will now be covered by the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana health insurance program, according to a Center announcement. With this step, six crore elderly adults will receive free health insurance coverage worth Rs 5 lakh per family, benefiting around 4.5 crore families.
