All citizens above 70 years brought under Ayushman Bharat health scheme

In a move to benefit 4.5 crore families, the Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved health coverage to all senior citizens of the age 70 years and above irrespective of income under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY). It will benefit 4.5 crore families with 6 crore senior citizens with a Rs 5 lakh free health insurance cover on an annual basis. Eligible senior citizens would be issued a new distinct card under the scheme.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, "PM Narendra Modi had made a commitment that all senior citizens above the age of 70 years will be given coverage under Ayushman Bharat PM Jan Arogya Yojana. There are many families which are already covered and have senior citizens. In such families, additional coverage, top-up coverage will be of Rs 5 lakh..."

Already poor families have Aayushman Bharat scheme upto 5lakhs free treatment scheme Now It is extended to all citizens above 70 years of all income groups irrespective of income and social status

Now central govt.should take initiative to implement to get minimum monthly pension for Rs.10000/- those who completed 65 years and no other income more than of Rs.2.50 lacs annually from any other sources.

My father died on 56years due to complete heart block, my grandmother died at the age of 63 years due to kidney failure, my elder brother died on heart attack on 57years of age. Please understand the average age of life expectancy of Senior Indians, atleast starts from 58years.
