I live with CONSTANT neck and shoulder pain and sometimes I think, “What’s the point of living if this is my quality of life?” Then I find this video and the shoulder exercise video and I don’t know how to describe it any other way; you have SAVED me. I watched this video the day that it came out last year. I went through the whole routine and my neck felt great. This video is one that I have found myself coming back to over the last 8 months. I don't always do all the exercises, but sometimes I need a reminder to do some of these stretches. This one's bookmarked.

Everyone with a smartphone should do this daily. I have recently been getting some neck stiffness from my workouts. I feel tension in my neck down to my clavicle during scapular movements especially. I'm going to give this a try along with continuing to work on scapular control and breathing.

I love this series. I find it helpful to do the movements very slowly, allowing the negative movement to reintegrate any lost function.

These neck exercises should be utilized by more people who are always complaining about having a pain in the neck! These simple movements are short, sweet, and to the point. I am going to implement these into my warm ups before my exercises, do some of them when I am sitting at work, and do them just for fun (to feel better!) :) Thank you GMB for sharing these important and overlooked movements!

I have neck pain followed by intense headache regularly
I remember receiving the article associated with this video by email a while ago
I decided to take another look 3-4 days when I was feeling the pain coming
And it changed everything for me, I followed the routine and in less than a hour, pain gone, headache never sets in
And I've been doing it everyday, around mid day, no pain, no headache to report
So thank you GMB

I also need to restart doing elements more seriously (great program)

I know this is an old video, but I have a question regarding proper form when performing supine rotations, i.e., the first exercise.

Am I supposed to slightly lift my head off the floor and then rotate—like there is a rod going from my spine through my head, and I'm rotating around it—or is my head supposed to “roll around” freely on the floor?

This routine revealed that I have a *really, really* weak neck. Thank you so much for all the free content you've been providing over the years, as well as awesome paid content. Have a nice day!

A number of years ago, I went through these exercises and the helped so much. I always had the urge to crack my neck a few times per day and that stopped. I'm revisiting them now because I think my occasional neck stiffness happens when something (exercising and straining, sleeping, accumulations of factors) overtaxes my neck. So I'm motivated to build up my tolerance in my neck even more. Thanks GMB!

I just wanted to thank you guys for this incredible video, its so simple yet so effective, also I have no idea why but the pain in my shoulders went away after I did this routine, is this normal or is it something I must be concerned about ?
