App is crap. It couldn't find its charging station today when it was right in front of it. It accidentally started with tap. But after an hour when I tried to end ... it could not connect. The plug was locked into my car. Repeated attempts to end through the app failed. Mysterious buttons on the charging station and junk on the screen were no help.

Looks like my Motorola android does not have NFC. Will try out public charging for the first time this weekend but based on reviews of local stations in the mountains of CO this may be a nerve wracking trip with quite undependable charging stations. Wish me luck.

Hello. In my app I can’t find the car icon to allows me to stop the charge. Every time I want to stop the charge I need to call the service desk of each stations so they can allow the disconnection. Have you had any issue? How can I solve it?

For home use I don't see where this app connect to my car to show me what percentage my car is charged to. It only shows how much energy in KW's and approximate miles it has added but no actual percentage my vehicle is at. Very dissappointing so far. Looks like they can send you a notice when it is done charging but no info on how long it will take or percentage charged your car is. I have to open my Kia Access app for that imfo

I tap my phone on the charger with the app open, and then it tells me to double click on the right button on my phone. The charger won't start unless I do the double click. I've never seen the double click talked about on a video about charging at ChargePoint.

I watched this to find out how the phone app works. He doesn't provide any information at all. This is a useless video. If you to tap your phone and nothing happens, then I was at a station and the phone app did nothing and the keychain card I had also didn't work. I called charge point twice and they never know what to do. They just tell you to go to the next closest charger. In the meantime someone else shows up and taps their card and it works for them. How stupid is this system? They told me there was nothing wrong with my account or card numbers. The stations have no way to manually enter the number from a keychain or card. How does one know if their phone is even capable of doing RFID? Do you have to be in the app to do it? Is there an on screen option or button to do it? I didn't see anything about tapping in the app? I am a software Engineer and I still had this much trouble. OMG!

Chargepoint is kind of expensive. A gallon of gas is cheaper than a full charge for a 2018 Chevy Volt.
