I’ve been working at an axe throwing bar for years. That incident was preventable in SO many ways. First, the axe over rotates, which means the first time she threw, someone should never have let her throw that particular axe. It looks like a Husky, which are very notable for over rotation. Second, they should have immediately stopped her from throwing with that amount of power, it only increases blowback especially if someone is over rotating naturally. This was entirely not her fault - it was the fault of the person watching out for them. And I’ve spent almost 3 years on a weekly basis having to explain why this video will never happen to anyone ever, and it never has. You have to throw so perfectly wrong, with the wrong axe, and with the power of a baseball launcher to make that happen.

I think the reason people who get run over don't generally have fractures is because the pressure on the bone is not likely to break it. Fractures are usually caused by shearing forces.

This is an amazing video! Thank you for every video you post, doctor! I was actually wondering, you react to game deaths a lot, but you have never tried explaining what has happened to the creatures that were once human, like the Callisto Protocol creatures or l4d zombies. Like going off of visual details to try and see what has happened to their body. Just an idea, of course!

I could do cartwheels perfectly fine when I was a kid. But a few years ago when playing around outside with my niece, I tried doing a cartwheel for probably the first time in close to 15-20 years. I pulled it off just fine, but it felt a lot harder on my body than it used to.

To me al of them were super lucky. The lightening one was the oddest to me just because of the chance of being struck by lightening can be so low to begin with. And all of them avoided what could have been death or very severe trauma. I hope you can do more of these!

The bike one i can relate to, i flew like superman for a sec, scarred my lip, the skin just sheds whenever it gets wet. My groin got hit too, but thank god my Excalibur is still intact.
