I’m doing the whole process right now and truthfully everyone sounds SO ungrateful in these vids!!! 😅 maybe because my teeth were absolutely so terrible beforehand (and getting worse with age) I knew I’d trade my left liver not only for straighter teeth but just for the opportunity to afford to fix then. I also did my research so I knew what I was getting myself.

I’m on tray 3, 1.5 months into my Invisalign journey and my overbite is significantly reduced, and my confidence has significantly increased! And I have 54 trays left!!!

No one notices them. Came home and my mom still doesn’t notice them.

You also get used to the pain. They’re awful to take out, yes but the point is not to take them out. Wearing them for 22 hours a day sucks but braces are 24.

Also I drink white wine/coffee with them in to take the stress off. Not recommended but you change them every 2 weeks so the staining is minimal.

This is a cosmetic procedure and people don’t realize HOW much effort it will be. But worth it. If you’re not ready for the life commitment or not mature/ responsible enough get braces.

Your teeth look perfectly aligned now...even straighter than "normal, " if that makes any sense. That's probably why people wonder if they're veneers.

Just a heads up, anyone questioning smile direct club (or similar) please be careful and reallly do your research. As many things you get what you pay for, and cutting corners with your health isn’t something you should ever do. The reason smile direct club is so much cheaper is because you’re treated digitally by an “orthodontist” (it’s been found that some of their orthodontists aren’t actually registered with the GDC which governs dentists which is kinda sketchy if you ask me) who never actually sees your mouth and obviously this can cause issues in the long run eg. fracturing in teeth and roots where they move your teeth too fast. Please just be careful!

I’m hearing ...they make your lips look bigger, keeps you from snacking (so maybe you lose weight) and of course straightens your teeth...thinking they probably sound like a beauty cure all lol

The gum issue were one of the main reason, aside from cost, I didn't want Invisalign. I bought a waterpik and became very diligent about flossing to improve my gum health before any of the damage became permanent and I didn't want to set myself back with aligners. Keeping your teeth clean with braces is work, but at least your gum line, for the most part, is free and clear. I had maybe two brackets that were close to my gum line.

I am wearing mine now I have another 10 to wear and yes I have a visit almost every two weeks too sometimes is 4 weeks it depends of how many trays I received. One thing to mention is that you will have to still wear trays over the night for another year if you want to keep your teeth straight plus a metal wide around your teeth so they don’t go back to your “before” shape. I have been told you will get 3 free trays and after that you will have to pay i think one tray was £90 and you wear them first year every night and after only 3/4 times a week at night. It’s a long journey. So far I have noticed changes but I am waiting for my final results which hopefully will happens eventually. Good luck all :) x

I started my teeth fixing journey at a very young age. At 7, I got braces for two years and at 14 I received invisalign and am almost done. I have noticed a huge difference and it has done an amazing job at aligning my teeth. Plus it hurts for a few days when you get a new tray, but you get used to it and barely notice or feel it’s there!

I'm on tray 16/25, it is annoying having to take them out every time you eat, but it has stopped me snacking throughout the day, so I think that is a pro! Apart from that, my teeth weren't too sore and I didn't get ulcers, so for me it hasn't been too bad! Plus my teeth have straightened a lot!

Thinking about getting braces for years and for traditional metal braces I was told I would need to have 4 teeth removed to have them. I was terrified back then lol so I ended up not getting it. Then I just came across invisalign and suprisingly they said there was no need. The way it worked was it gently expands the arch overtime, which is crazy because the treatment is faster than trad braces (5 months* vs 2 years).

If I had known this, I would've gotten it done a lot sooner. Truth is my self esteem was the lowest of low and I never realised how badly my teeth had really affected me on the inside. I agree with Soph that not everyone cares how their teeth look like but there were days I couldn't stand looking at the mirror.

You're not just paying for perfect teeth, but it improves oral health, the reshaping of your jaw and jawline, confidence, and (personally) being content looking at your photos.

Thank you for sharing the cost of your treatment! No one ever mentions their exact cost which is so annoying, they always say ‘between £2000 and £5000’ 🙄

If you do drink alcohol or coffee with the trays in your mouth, then it is best to use a straw and shove it half way down your throat to miss the trays AND as soon as possible rinse your mouth with water. It is best though to just take them out of course. I got Efferdent to clean them also - cheap and seems to work.

Ok this review was extremely helpful. My teeth moved a little after braces and they really aren’t bad. Similar to you before you started, they are still pretty straight but I miss my perfectly straight teeth!!! Wasn’t sure I wanted to definitely to move forward because it’s really expensive for something I’ve already done... definitely going to!! Thank you!!!

I recently got my braces off after 3 1/2 years and 9 teeth out (4 of them were wisdom) and I feel like a new person 😂 there's just something about straight 'perfect teeth' 🙌
