If you want to amp it up make a brine using:
-Soy sauce
-mirin (japanese cooking wine)
-Rice vinegar
-Touch of grated ginger (optional)

Do what he did, peel the egg(s), and put them in a tall container. Weigh the eggs down with a damp paper towel, and leave for 3 days. It's DELICIOUS with some ramen.

or u could put the egg and water into the pot and let it boil when it starts to boil set a timer for 3 minutes and then when the timer ends take it out and leave it in the fridge and then peel the shell of and then u can eat it

Careful with the size of your egg, small eggs will cook faster than larger eggs. If you have extra large eggs then you might want to go for 8 minutes. You don't want any uncooked egg white in there it's really nasty... also poke a small hole at the bottom of your egg with a pin or something, that way a little water seeps in while cooking and makes it easier to peel
