What Is a Super Set? | Gym Workout

Hi guys, this is Max Tapper again for HowCast, and what we're going to do today is talk about what is a super set?
Now, a lot of people mention super sets, but what a super set really is, is two separate exercises done back to back, for opposing muscles. You get that? So, that means my first set will be chest press, my second set or exercise would be a back row, right? So, I'm working antagonistic muscles, chest first, then back next. Two separate exercises done back to back, and that is a super set.
Now, my favorite type of super set is when I'm doing arms. I love to do biceps and triceps back to back, at the same time. So, I will start off with a dumbbell doing bicep curls. As soon as I'm done, I switch over to tricep extensions. I've found that to be the most effective way of building nice, strong muscle, and getting development in your arms.
So guys, go out there. You can choose any type of exercise you want, as long as they're opposing muscles; chest/back, quads/hamstrings. Whatever it is, go out there, enjoy it, have fun with it, but still stay safe.
