Multiple stops in maps is “crazy cool”? Maps is the last navigation app to implement this - years too late!
But I am happy that is finally showing up.

It makes sense to have an Universal UI for all vehicles yet still be customizable. It will take years for them to adapt.

More cars are adding Heads Up Displays (HUD) in their offerings. Did Apple mention if the CarPlay screens will access the HUD, and if so, will it provide the same customization options?

Having new cars means having two infotainment systems. If in-car infotainment could be replaced by CarPlay, but retain the adaptability of each vehicles settings, it would be a game changer!

Apparently 2022 Volvos and newer are going to be able to get an OTA update and will be able to run the new version of Apple CarPlay with all the digital speedometers and the customization.

Wait how do I get Apple CarPlay in my current car? Do I need to buy a car stereo screen? Or how do I do so?

I wish they would just fix all the bugs with CarPlay actually playing your music without randomly stopping, locking up or as I often experience, the music counter moves along but the music just stops playing. I've read reports on this from drivers of Ford, BMW, Dodge, Kia, Hyundai, Honda and Chevrolet just to name a few. The car dealers say it is an Apple issue - Apple says the problem is with the auto manufacturers/ head units. This also happens with spoken Map directions and Siri as well. Nobody seems to know what is happening but Apple and Car dealers keep pushing CarPlay and Wireless CarPlay as a great incentive feature. I ended up disabling it in my 2021 Sorento because it simply won't work. Kia updated the head unit firmware but it didn't help...Apple can't diagnose it and reports are all over the board on this from car forums to apple forums. Great video! Really great features they are talking about releasing but I rarely hear anything about the known bugs they can't seem to sort out. Sorry if this seems a negative rant. Not directed at you or your content. Just frustrated. Get excited whenever I hear about Car Play updates but they never seem to address this issue with simply playing your music.
