I'm really annoyed that Tesla so far refuses to offer Carplay. To see that they are implementing Airplay is a confirmation to me that they're not planning to implement Carplay in the near future. Huge bummer

thanks. so what happens when there's an incoming call? does the maps screen get minimized in favor of the call screen? this would be an issue when navigating a tricky spot using one of the maps apps. thanks, .

Great Video. I am just wondering if you are at all concerned about the Privacy and Security of Car Play. I have read the Car Play required agreement and it clearly says that the auto Manufacturer can use your data from Car Play and use it for themselves and or provide it to 3rd parties for marketing purposes or other reasons. This means that the auto manufacturers can use and store any and all of the data on your cell phone that you access on Car Play. I would love to get your opinion on this topic. Thanks?

Thanks for this video. Just got a car and want to use CarPlay but to not want incoming calls and text messages to appear in CarPlay. Any way to deactivate this from happening? I don’t even want to jabber access to text messages in my CarPlay app.

Had a question about the available apps to use with Car play, for example, purchased movies are now in the TV icon? Is that available to use in Car play? Also, is Apple Music a paid subscription app? I'm on the fence whether to get a new iPhone or stick with Android.

Been using carplay for years... Still waiting for the most basic settings toggle/switch/option... 
SET DEFAULT MUSIC APP. 
I use Spotify, but almost every time I get in the car, the same song (out of four song i own i Apple Music) starts.

The biggest issue with carplay is that when you get a call during navigation, it flips to the call screen and then you have to come back to the navigation app. It is even more annoying if yo dont have a touchscreen so you have toogle back every time. Is there a solution for this?

Thanks for this video. Would you know why music played through Apple CarPlay doesn't sound as good as music played via Bluetooth? Apple CarPlay music sounds more tinny with almost zero bass.

This implies that we should automatically always be using Apple Maps rather than Google Maps. Lots of these features wouldn’t work if it’s Google Maps, right? Do you think we should favour using Apple Maps in CarPlay?
