I may not agree. I do intermittent fasting, but I will go astray. In my opinion the fasting is more important than keto.

It's not true. I still eat carbs (bread, rice, potato's) and I do omad and have no moods or hypoglycemic. Fasting is great no matter the diet.

this may be the first time i've ever disagreed with you. i eat a moderate carb diet (sometimes teetering on high) and i still fast for 18-20 hours almost daily, with really no trouble. i believe that my body has learned to adapt to the periods where carbohydrates are not coming in.

I do one meal a day on a high carb diet. No mood swings, blood sugar crashes, etc. Feel great and don't really feel hungry at all when I'm ready to eat.

Dr. Fung recommends fasting without necessitating a ketogenic diet. I fast with moderate carbs (all whole foods) and feel great.

I don't think it's true for all but it's true for me. If I have a high-carb diet, I am far more hungry and I have trouble maintaining the schedule. While I eat low-carb, the intermittent fasting comes naturally and without any effort. Low-carb for me is below 100g a day.

I do intermittent fasting on a carb diet. I feel amazing. But, I am 34 and in decent shape. So I might be the exception.

Should listen to your body to see what works best for you. My body likes moderate carbs (not low). I can still lose weight and don't get tired if I eat carbs from whole foods.

I do low/moderate carb with intermittent fasting. I don’t even know if I get into keratosis but I feel fine. Some days I eat carbs like a beast but I still fast.

Carbs last up to 72 hours in storage in my experience. 20 hours fasting a day is fine with carbs. People who start Keto take around 3days to develop the Keto flu.

Lots of Muslims fast without going blind or anything. It just takes some days and it becomes normal. Humans are able to adjust to a lot of things and intermittent fasting is certainly one of the things we can adjust to quite easily.

Fasting is the best.
Period.
Bad carbohydrates should always be a big no...but i don't think there should be problem eating healthy carb like fruits and vegetables after breaking fast.
And keto is good as long as you can continue for a long time without feeling deprived😊

Not as bad as he days. I always eat rice in my meal and I do not experience those symptoms he says.

Moderate or high carbs is fine with intermittent fasting as long as it's done in conjunction with your exercise protocol. Depending on how fasting-adapted you are, you can still enter ketosis fairly quickly thereafter (I start with a dry fast for 12 hours and then have water for another 6 hours before breaking my fast). Never had any issues with it.

Mid 40s, OMAD on carb heavy Indian diet (vegetarian). Have ACV before lunch & before I sleep. Stay away from fast carbs as much as I can, but at times I do have a small cup ice cream or equivalent. Never checked my numbers but losing weight slowly (196 lbs to 182 lbs now and it took a while).

Absolutely. Headaches, hunger pangs, fatigue, cravings which can lead to binges when refeeding. Been there done that. Never again.
