Hi! I went a little too much with the gas when tried to rev match and my car lurched forward. Should I be worried that I damaged something? I think it is safe to say that I over-revved when tried to rev-match.

I understand rev matching if you are racing your car on a track, but 98% of people do not race.. If you are rev matching and downshifting during normal driving, you are basically just unnecessarily revving your motor to show off your exhaust and you are also increasing the wear on your motor!!
