We'll look at whether there is a link between our mental health and sleep. Can insomnia and sleep problems be a sign of a mental health issue? And How do we identify this?
Its been a long studies phenomenon that when peoples mental health deteriorates one of the many signs can be disturbed sleep - from too little or broken sleep to too much sleep. We explore how key mental health issues like anxiety, depression, PTSD, paranoia/psychosis and medications can affect your sleep at night. But also how insomnia (the medical name for sleep problems) can also have a deeper root cause that may stem from mental health issues.
