Thanks, it was very informative! I was surprised to see how calm she was in your hand. She obviously was not happy about being held for so long, but she wasn’t panicking either. Really cool!

Just in time! I literally just binged your entire series! I can't have a pigeon at this time, but a few years out once I move I am definitely going to rescue one! I'm going to do all the research I can until then! 🤍🕊

I don’t have a pet pigeon (yet), but there are ‘wild’ pigeons at the apartment complex where I live. I feed them bird seed twice a day. I noticed one of the pigeons is banded, and seems to like me. But I need to pick it up in order to read what’s on the band to find the owner. So I’m watching your videos. Thanks for making these videos.

Such a cute and patient birb. My pigeons would go crazy if I held them for this long. And also poop a few times of course.
She is so chubby and fluffy <3

Thank you so much for this video. I've just rescued a young pigeon and it is in quarantine. I used your video to examine the birds wing and underside and found it had mites (an treating it now). If I had not seen this video the mites might have not been discovered until it was too late.

It was so adorable when she preened you ❤ Thank you for the information, I just subscribed. I'm planning to get a pigeon pair, not to breed, just to give a good home. I already bought the feed and grit and just preparing for them. But I've been excited about getting pigeons. Hopefully I will be able to bond with them and get them use to me. I've had pet chickens and quail in the past, but first time with pigeons. My parents use to raise fantail pigeons so I learned a few things from them.

I love the breed of pigeon you got. Its known as a Lahori pigeon, sometimes also referred to as a Sherazi pigeon.
