Anakin Kills Mace - Star Wars Analysis

Mace Windu and Anakin Skywalker are some of the best Jedi in the Galaxy. Who would win in a duel if these two fought? Well, in the Revenge of the Sith game, we actually get an alternate duel where Anakin and Mace fight, and Anakin actually kills Mace Windu. Let's discuss how and even IF this could happen if the two went up against one another.

The reason Anakin killed Mace: Palpatine was ”tooo weaaakkk!!”

I think the age factor may play a part, because Mace just fought Palpatine and as shown in the video, Mace begins to tire at the end. Whereas Anakin was fairly fresh and rested. This may give Anakin the upper hand fighting in this scenario. Otherwise, if they're both rested in Ep.3, I think Mace wins.

That was a very interesting point that the force had a plan for Anakin, wouldn't that mean that no matter what he couldn't be killed? I think that would give Anakin the edge to win against Windu every time.

There's what I think; maybe Anakin could "be allowed by the force" to lose to Obi Wan because Obi was never going to finish him off, but someone like Windu would have made sure Anakin was dead if he won. If there is a force of destiny protecting Anakin then there is no way Windu could win, he wouldn't be allowed to kill Anakin by a superior power and he'd have to lose, maybe his force abilities would be... interrupted if that makes sense

Correct me if I'm wrong Theory 👍 but I'm just thinking out loud without knowing much about the lore

I just saw this on my recommended, I've been a fan of your account for the past 2 or 3 years now. Way before the amazing Vader fan film. This game has always had a special place in my heart. The reason for this is because I remember way back in around 2005 or 2006 i was watching my dad play this game. And I remember he found this one glitch i guess you could call it where in one spot theres a corner you could go to that Mace wouldn't attack you. He would just like run around or something, but my dad was just able to heal Anakin back to full health after taking a significant amount of damage which is something we would joke about. The reason why this is so significant to me is because this brought me back to my childhood before my dad had passed away a few years after this. This just turned my rough day at work into nothing but smiles and happy memories. So I'd just like to say thank you for that, and thank you for everything you do. You are my all time favorite youtuber. I hope you have a great day, and if you are reading this I'd just like you to know how much this account means to me

I want to add some quotes from SW book "Clone Wars Gambit: Siege", where Anakin stops a giant, extremely lethal storm and Obi-Wan's thought on this: " I’m not certain that Yoda himself could’ve held this wretched storm back the way you did, for as long as you did. You saved the village.”

Also, Qui-Gon refers to this storm as : "It was the most awful thing I’ve ever seen, ” Qui-Gon had told him, so many years ago. “Theta storms kill in two ways, you see. If you’re contaminated from a distance, well, it takes a long time to die. But if you are in the storm’s path it will rip you to pieces and then melt your bones. I’ve seen it kill both ways, and both ways are cruel. Better to be swallowed alive by a Sarlacc.”

And lastly, “If these readings are right this is a Class Four storm. I never thought I’d live to see one this bad.”
