Nice nice, nice nice nice!! I’ve been cleaning my plastic and it helps a lot.. I do a final wipe with a water base cleaner and it seems to take some of the static off that section of plastic. Still use the anti-static gun but that extra step of wiping that plastic helps.. another awesome video Gabe!

Great video! Thanks for being candid. Most painters won’t admit to making mistakes. I love it, we used to call it, “ run it off the panel.” It was supposed to be funny, but in theory that is what you do. Worst case scenario, you have to cut off the stalactites, and carefully polish a edge.

Cool (and funny video) Gabe.
So I messed up a small blow - in blend recently.
A very light green with lots of silver.
I was trying not to put too much on and kept checking as I went.
The color ended up fooling my light and me.
Blended the clear using your technique with the Spray Max 368 0093, which consistently works beautifully every time btw.
Came back later to check my work out in the sun and was shocked that I didn't completely cover the primer spot.
Still learning and I guess I need to be extra careful when spraying high silver paints. 🤔

Great video Gabe very informative and with great detail. Like you I also upgraded my gopro recently I went from the 4 to the 8 and the colours are not good, for some reason gopro has designed their own colour profile but now they are to saturated, there is no easy cure for this but I've found a workaround that improves it a bit, if you alter the pre-set you are using and scroll down to PROTUNE then change the White Balance from auto to 3200K this will reduce the saturation on reds and blues, this is ok for indoor work but you will need to change it again for outdoor or the colours will look blueish (cold) I have a different pre-set for my booth and outside, hope it helps John UK.

Hey Gabriel, how are you man? Its funny you mentioned that the water primer can ring up I just had that problem in my last video, our tech reps said if the water base primer is left for a long time before painting it could absorb moisture as well. Thanks for sharing.

I hope you are well and still doing those nice videos. My question is about the set up of your spray gun. If we have silver colour lets say bonnet ( Jaguar XJ size) environment temperature 86 Fahrenheit or more and humidity less than 50% . I have never used it and that's why seeking your opinion. THANKS in advance :)

I still think the best way to paint is mix the paint with a kitchen blender drill thingy in a milk bag holder then just use your electric toothbrush to apply it. Really spreads the Shiny paint flakes nicely

I use microfiber only the blue color I was using diff colors and I was getting a very light amount of color transfer from the colored ones

Don't you get dust if you wash it with a towel? I'm using a dupon a1000 cloth to wash, and there's a lot of dust.

How can You put so much Clearcoat in, and its MF dosent run? When I do it its run everywhere.
