You know what makes me happier in the morning? Drinking a cup of coffee. I even use water to make the coffee so it’s a win/win

Only do this if you want to wake up between 2 and 3 am and then struggle to go back to sleep because you cant decide if you're hot or cold whilst thinking about some random event that happened at work two weeks ago and/or debating just staying awake so you can finally start that morning workout routine you've promised yourself you'd start doing, finally falling back to sleep 20 minutes before your alarm goes off. Sounds like an amazing plan. 👍

That was great advice when you were in your 20s and you were partying and drinking all night you would drink a lot of water before you went to sleep but not women with menopause

I won't wake up happy after drinking water before bed because I'll wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. 😂

After menopause I can not drink anything or have fruits after 8:30 pm or up all night. Yup. That was a surprise for me

I get it what he's saying 😆
My late grandma told us she and grandpa used to drink a full glass of water before they go to bed. So they'll wake up in the middle of the night. One who wakes up first will call the other silently so that they can have some time away from toddler twins who used to sleep between them 😅

I think it's great advice. Keeps me hydrated during the night and gets me out of bed in the morning.

Is that why my over functioning bladder plus the liquid I drink at night keep me up?

There's a really good book called 'Why We Sleep' by Matthew Walker, PhD. One of his number one tips is to not drink a lot of water before bed because it'll have you disrupting your sleep to get up in the middle of the night to pee. If you're having a hard time sleeping I 10/10 recommend this book. When I put what it says in to practice I get the best sleep of my life. It has a lot of behavior based suggestions though, which can be hard to keep up, but it does help when you can.
