"I thought I saw something good, but it didn't work out" That kind of sums up my games.

Friend, I just want to acknowledge you, and tell you that - of all of the many people on YouTube giving instructions, you are one of the best. Thank you for taking the time and putting in all of the hard work to genuinely help other people improve their skills. You are much easier to understand, you go at a pace that actually helps learning, and your explanations are much more clear then most of the Masters and Grand Masters on here ... I just really appreciate your efforts and the time that you put into this.
✨ thank you.✨

First chess video i have seen for a long long time that i feel really explains things clearly and simply so i can effectively improve my current rating. I am subscribing. How come i have only come across this guy now. That knight move that was better than losing a rook gee i used to do that all the time.

I found your channel the other day. Really clear and very well explained lessons. You deserve many more views than you have!

Yeah the thing about pawns is good advice. I feel like newer players hear "advance your pawns first" and they think it means all

I was at almost 1000, then got on a terrible losing streak and now I can’t break 850 😡

One of the best videos I have seen in a long time. he sounds like he would be a good teacher he keeps it simple. If he was a coach I would take lessons. He obviously did some research 100 games per level.

I got to 1067 on dropped to 950. I play 4 games per day and have been on a losing streak and berily winning since the 19th and yh I think you're right. I have alr been doing puzzles every single day before tho so.

Concise and brilliant little series (600, 800, 1000…)
Great idea to analyze a lot of games in those levels.
Blunders and tactics.
I find I blunder way more in blitz and especially bullet vs 10 min rapids or longer games.

What a great way to explain the board. The talent of coaching/training is often overlooked in any skilled area. Well done.

Nice one, thank you.
Adds up to more than 100% because some games involved two or more losing strategies. He's been analysing my hands 😉
