Some more tips that aren’t well-known:

-The lower your hp, the louder your heartbeat. The louder your heartbeat, the easier it is for the Figure to hear you. Try having near full hp when you enter door 50

-Opening drawers and entering the closet will trigger the Figure if he’s nearby, so only use the closet if you’re being chased.

-When the door to exit the library is opened, the Figure will gain 20/20 vision and automatically know where everyone is. Additionally, Jack and Hide will spawn in closets after the exit is unlocked. If you’re in a group, you want everyone ready to leave the room once the door opens.

At the entrance, to the right is also a spot that the figure can't reach. When he hears you he will go towards you and when near you he will just turn around as if he never heard you.

another tip, usually the figure follows a different path every time. so if one spot is safe then it'll be safe for the rest of the encounter, same goes for if it's unsafe. if you follow the pattern then you can time your movements and avoid the figure and death

When your starting, Here are notes.
-When your going up the stairs to the upper libary, You can uncrouch IF SAFE
-There is a sequence for figure ussually.



When your starting, first you want to go to the right and skim all the books while crouching. If you feel unsafe, Hide in a closet. Now, when your done with the lower right side of the libary, go to the left and skim the books.


After that go to the desk, and get the paper. Now go to a safe spot (the staircase thats blocked near you has a space next to the desk, go into one of the corners)


Now, What you want to do is when figure is checking the lower left and right, rush up to the upper libary.




Finnaly, Go to the plant next to the locked door and hide in that corner. Camp until he is downstairs and get the books. Once your done, Figure out the code and there. It's done!

Another tip: If you are missing a digit and cannot find the last required book, you can just guess what it is brcause Figure's walk pattern never goes to the exit. Be aware that the lock makes noise so when he's close just stop doing anything.

Tip : When doing multiplayer, if a teammate has opened the exit door, *BOOK IT.* Hiding in closets will no longer work and Figure will track you no matter how silent you are, so just run.

ALSO, using the Vitamins to get somewhere quicker actually makes sound due to your speed, which I assume is how the game is coded to Figure's hearing mechanics.

Cries, the "safe" spot beside the lock of the exit door isnt safe anymore. The monster gets too close on that area almost all the time and could hear your heartbeat to get you.

Also, Great video! I knew all the safe spots mentioned in this video and learnt some tips I didn't know like you can hide in the closet infinitely! I'm sure you will reach 1k early sooner! You are now plus 1 sub near to that goal :)

Great video! No notable mistakes, but from experience, the area where the paper is at is safe as long as you stay fairly still

I'm back with more tips!
the books have a similar noise to the key in a drawer sound, so turn up your volume and use that advantage!
sometimes if your friend dies on rom 50 and they have a revive but they get locked out, tell them to revive and they just beat the stage just fine.
sometimes if a player makes too much noise while the other is doing heartbeat, there is a chance the monster will follow the player that Made too much walking or any other noise.
the books needed for the shapes are completely different from the others. they are brighter, make a sound when near, and stick out a little.
sometimes you need to find books to find more books.
finally, last time when I told you there was a safe spot in a corner, well, it's not safe at all if your friend is doing the heartbeat thing so together one in the closet the other near is not a good thing.
the hiding spot is right, forward 2, left near the blocked of path.

another place i hide a lot is behind the pink sofa next to the wardrobe by the blocked off stairs, he never went back there in my playthroughs.

Hey Pj I just discovered that one of my attempt on getting to door 100 (failed) that one of my teammates did a 100 IQ play, so the lights flickered on a certain door and there was only 1 wardrobe (or closet or whatever) and I went in, she panicked but stayed calm and hid next to the wardrobe not hiding but staying beside the closet to prevent rush from getting to her. Hope this helps in multiplayer runs!

The tips offered here are very good!, All very accurate, helpful, and quick to pick up!
The Figure as well, whenever he is downstairs (or upstairs), and you are not on the same floor as him, will usually ignore you when you're running, and it's quite safe even if he becomes angry, because at that point, you'd usually have enough space to get what you need and hide again!

The route to take at the end, while it may be good for everyone, I would say goes to personal preference.
For the most optimized path, it'd be better to check the right side bookshelves first, head left to the other bookshelves, then get the paper, head over to the stairs and check the bookshelves there before going up!. This is one path used by many speedrunners and me! (In my videos, you can see an example of this ^^. My newest one however, I had a speed boost, which is why i changed the path a little)

I always strugled to find hiding spots for the figure, ty for the video
You should do one for hiding spots for rush and ambush, there are way less of them since their hitboxes got increased

Tip for R50 if anybody needs it, Pick up 8 books  that are meant to be chosen, They give a number and a shape, Then pick up a paper with Roman numerals as (shape) I  (shape II) And So On To 5 (Its 5 symbols but u need 8 books) [The Shape  EG-Paper-Rectangle-1] Find the rectangle and its number, If the rectangle on side says (rectangle shape) 8, Put 8 in the first slotof the lock, Again, Its needed 8 books yet 5 selected numerals as to find each one.  Crouch to Figure cant see you, It cant see but it hears your heartbeat if its close, Stay away from it and keep crouching unless you need to get something.
