My observations; Most single women in this age group have been emotionally broken. 2+ trainwreck marriages, decades of abusive relationships. Most never recover and are damaged for life. This is something that's true for both men and women, but especially for women. The primary driver of attraction is anxiety and uncertainty. I wish this weren't true, but it is. I think it's good for a man to be direct about liking a woman, finder her attractive, and asking her out on a date. But being direct about wanting a serious relationship with a woman of any age isn't good advice. Women need to understand that if shes dating a man in his 40s who has options (and you wouldn't like him if he didn't have options), that man has played the game time and time again. He's seen it all. There's a reason why men play games with women. It's not to be cruel or try to hurt her feelings. He does that because that's what works. A woman needs to feel like she's won that man over. A man needs to be a little mysterious to a woman. A man needs to create distants and anxiety with that woman so that her attraction can build for him. I wish that it were as simple as meeting a woman and saying "I like you, i want to be in a serious monogamous relationship with you." But unfortunately, that's just not how it works.

Looking for a little advice. So i meet a women that i was seeing professionally on her part, lets call me her exclient. She left her position and we still communicate on a personal level.
