Thank you for this. I've been trying to learn how to squat as a rest position. I can get into the position but I would lose balance and fall unless I had my heels up. I thought my issue was flexibility but your method just proved to me that isn't the case. Now i know i have to strengthen my core. Thank you!

I was literally led to believe by PTs that I didn't have the biomechanics to squat (long femur, poor ankle mobility). I haven't squatted in years and this guy literally fixed the issue in a minute. Unbelievable. Thank you.

Simple and very informative, I struggle a lot while doing squats. I also sometimes use to try this but now I will do it on regular basis.

I've been failing to identify tightness causing my problem for years. I'm not right anywhere. I wondered why I can go all the way down just by holding onto a pole with just a finger, but when I let go, suddenly I can't move past your demonstration and barely being able to bend at all. I grabbed a water jug and held it out in front of me and boom butt to the ground. Crazy, it's been years that I've tried and failed to squat right. Thank you.

Thanks man! I am working out for last 7 years ! My PR in squat is 180 kg( not talking about those quarter squats😂) but this issue was always my problem. I am so thankful to you! People like you make YouTube useful.

I suffer from this problem and found this very useful, but are there any ways I can improve so that I can eventually do a barbell back squat? As I feel this will make me rely on a counter balance..

Thank you so much! I have the flexibility to hold a deep squat but only if I am holding on to something. If I try it free hand I feel like I am going to fall. This counterbalance technique is genius!!! Thank you!!
