Only thing that surprised me here is when she stated that cemeteries lower values of a home or neighborhood . There are some abutting several of our most expensive homes/neighborhoods in the city I live in . Doesn’t appear that they’ve had a negative effect on there prices

Im a Realtor and a lot of people don’t understand what makes home values go up or down.

Orlando has had huge growth over the last 2 years which has caused home prices to skyrocket.

This is great financial advice as it’s usually the biggest purchases most people will make in their lifetime.

Then Low Value Friends and High Value Friends.

In addition to this list here are a few more on my list-
Double yellow lines out side the house
Corner houses.
Too close to a freeway.
Too close to schools or playgrounds near by.
Cemetery near by
If something like a murder happened in that house.
Too close to where people rioting and or destroying property.
Major structural problem that not worth fixing.
I’m sure that there are more but I can’t think of any at the moment…

Slightly disagree with examples given. Generally, access to highways are desired and shooting ranges ( recreational for disposable income individuals ) can indicate a higher income neighborhood which generally equates to lower crime, etc.
7:14 - for rent signs - too bad.
You may have bought your property so you can do what you want so why think other buyers can't do as they want?

With the trend of e commuting living in a lowering populated area does not mean that it will become low valued.

You're wrong on the flood plain, it's not any part of a structure it's any part of the property. You could live on the top of a hill but if your property goes all the way to the bottom of the hill into a flood plain them your house on top of the hill is in the flood plain.

Low value and high value depends on personal perspective. For instance I can make a high value royal family fall with the snap of a finger or make a low value family rise just the same keep the lord in your heart mind and soul. AMEN.
