even tho it's impossible to replicate in normal setting, i appreciate how nuance the mechanics of tf2 are. you can have this type of quirky interaction, if this was modern game design. they would have capped it cuz "it effect competitive play" or it's a "bug"

A realistic way to bypass the player limit in an official valve server without abusing the new 100 player limit would be to go into VSH- it's not as many as 50, but it's very viable.
Also: Uber build rate can go even faster if we are in setup mode pre-round and everyone keeps damaging themselves for the Amputator to get maximum effectiveness.

The amputator building 2%/second off of each teammate actually seems potentially practical in 6s. You could have 4-10%. Not normally practical because your team would be vulnerable to sacs, but if your team wiped on mid you might be able to hard build in spawn while the second point is capped.

If you disable auto balance and allow uneven teams, then you could have 99 players on one team and one player on the opposite team. You could have 98 heavies get healed by the amputator at the same time and the first heal would get you to %100 Uber

I’ve noticed this on the uncletopia 1000 uncles servers, where you fight a bunch of Engie bots with 24 people on your team. I’ve stood in huge clumps of teammates with the amputator taunt and gotten Uber ridiculously fast while healing an insane amount of health

How to build uber fast as Medic :

1) Heal an explosive class that repetitively damage themselves.

2) Heal a Boston Basher Scout that hit themselves

3) Just heal a Razorback Sniper. They don't even need to damage themselves.
