The example is weird.. the cost is the same, people just wont buy that bad car.

Another example is, you made a truck for package delivery, but it can only travel once, so the cost of delivering things is very expensive. But if we can reuse the truck, we only pay extra for fuel, and maintenance (of course among other things). The cost for the truck can be spread in its use for years, instead of once

How much does it cost? Depends how much you can make doing it. For instance if it costs 10K to go up but your bring back 100K then it costs nothing. In fact you make money.
