I think Einstein would be happy to know if he found that an 8 year old child was fascinated by his unfinished work which led his passion towards physics.

This is the first internet story where the guy was really Albert Einstein

It is sad, having a passion for learning. Consuming knowledge, and having very few people to relay this excitement to.

Damn, young Michio really looked like young Jackie Chan...

My father had a sign in the office that said, "a clean desk is the sign of a sick mind ". I believe it was truth.

That feeling when your discussing something you’re so passionate about and can tell that people just don’t care to find a semblance of interest is so aggravating

Well, Mr. Michio Kaku, peoples eyes haven’t glazed over with you speaking you’re knowledge for many years now. I’ve always appreciated your knowledge & wisdom. I use to love watching your show. My favorite episode was about the possibility of time travel. My mind was blown.

I love that thought… I wish to continue to learn as much as possible… I’m 52, and, though I’m trying, I still keep trying to learn… I never tire of learning🍎

“There eyes would glaze over” an unfortunate true incident for many when trying to speak of there passions. to many people can hear you but they don’t listen not unless you’re talking about them.

He was my physics professor for 2 classes: “The Physics of Science Fiction, ” which was fascinating, and “Physics 101.” He was a very good teacher and he also had a good sense of humor. I think he was working on “The Unified Field Theory” at that time.

I live in a rural area and never finished school I had to quit so I could get a job I have a good memory as in I remember everything and I've read every book in our small town library a few times and love every one that involves arithmetic. I spend most days on a tractor pondering numbers and how they fill the universe. You just can't see them, equations are like a puzzle and I love how when I get one put together it almost feels like I shed a bit more light on my reality. I've never had a chance to meet anyone like me that enjoys reading or the things I do so to see them on YouTube makes me happy. Just knowing there are others is a comfort. I learned when I was very young that people around here don't care about the mysteries of the world and they don't want to hear about them.

I've read his book, "Hyperspace", and trust me, this man is a genius.

You were 8 years old when you were given the “universal goggles” they show you everything and open your mind to all, but there are two rules once you obtain them. 1. You can NEVER take them off and 2. You cannot force anyone else to wear them no matter how hard you explain yourself. It may seem frustrating that no one else understands or seems like they’re on the same page as you but trust in the grand scheme, we are each gifted with pockets of knowledge, no one man can know it all. We all have a part to play and we are all playing our part… good or bad there’s a lesson and teacher in everything and everyone.

When I was a child I saw a program where Nina Kulagina moved a spoon with her mind. I became obsessed with learning how to do that, which eventually led me to become a serious neuroscience geek. I read and follow everything that's related to the brain, brain health and performance. It's amazing how a child's brain can be motivated by something fascinating at an early age.

The problem is, you are closer to finding the theory of everything in a Deleuze book than any theoretical physicists' theory. Even if there is a theory of everything it is not something humans can obtain. Even if we did it would only be a theory of everything that humans can fathom.

That’s how I felt as a kid reading books about space, I tried to communicate what I had learned with my peers and they either didn’t believe me or didn’t care

Edit: I had and still have friends that are very interested but I just thought the mysteries of the universe were something that everyone wanted to know when I was younger, but I figured out quickly that it either goes over peoples heads or they just don’t care
