I’m very overweight (296 lb) however, once I actually started doing this I have been loosing weight. I just started my weight loss journey not to long ago but I feel better than I ever had

Hi thanks for this video. I definitely fell into that eat 1200 calorie craziness. I am 186 and want to get to 130 but i will take your advice and set goal to 160 and go from there. I have started your workout program and its hard and challenging makes me see how out of shape i am. I can feel myself getting more energy

Thanks for this Michelle. These videos are really helping me out. Was eating 1200-1300 a day 😡. I’m 185 and my goal is 160 so I’ll aim for eating between 1600-1700. Started my Body recomp this week as well.

OMG! I’m so thankful to have came across this video. Simple and straight to the point. I have 24 lbs I want to drop by or before May. I’m 166 and my goal is 144. I originally started at 185 and dropped 19lbs. Just have this last bit to go and I was doing such damage by eating less than 1, 200 (less than 1, 000 tbh). I graduate with my Masters and I want to be at the weight I was when I graduated undergrad in 2018. I do boxing classes and started weight training again. Thank you so much!

Gosh Michelle!! I'm so grateful I discovered your video! You explained this so clearly and ended my confusion! I just HAD to subscribe right away! ☺ I've started my final weightloss journey with MFP 3 weeks ago. In error, I assumed I had to eat 500 calories less than my daily MFP calorie goal to be in deficit. Yes, I knew 1045 calories a day was not realistic, but I've had enough and decided to stop whining and "just do it!" As time went on, I did lose weight, but became uncomfortable with the low calories.... I needed a better explanation... and here you are! When you explained that "goal weight" in the calculation was NOT "your final/ultimate weight goal".... this clicked and made so much more sense. Thank you!💕 I'm going to check out your other videos now!

best advice ever...I have been weight training for 6 months, hit a wall, then started resticing calories and began losing muscle..Im upset at the bad advice but now I know what not to do and will bounce back soon...hopefully! thx

I try, fail, try fail CONSTANTLY!! I gained 10 lb while going to they gym so I got very discouraged. A friend told me about calorie deficit. This is how I found you!! I really like you! You are fun to listen to you make it sound easy (well you know what I mean). I don't know what macro's are though or where those come into play but I keep hearing about them. I have about 100lb to lose. So I'm really paying attention to your videos.

Thank you for this, Michelle! My goal weight is 180 so I've been sticking to 1800 calories per day. I've lost a little over 7 lbs in 2 months (weight is still well above 200) and I have several tops that I couldn't get past my boobs 2 months ago that are now loose all over! However, for the past two weeks, I've been extremely tired and really hungry but I thought I just needed to "drink more water and push through". Now I realize I'm not eating anywhere near the recommended protein for my current body weight. I'm going to really focus on hitting that target for the next 2-3 weeks and see if that helps with the fatigue and hunger. Any suggestions on getting more protein without significantly increasing calorie intake? I don't tolerate dairy so Greek yogurt, cottage cheese or those types of protein rich/lower calorie foods aren't an option for me. Thanks again for the knowledge!!

I've recently found your channel and am finding it very informative so thank you!
I currently weight 190lbs and need to lose 45lbs.
I have recently signed up to F45 for strength training and do 30 min walks daily.
My main issue is that I've been in a very low deficit for years (unintentional) and find it extremely challenging to eat. I'm simply never hungry.
Every meal is forced in trying to achieve the calories my body needs.
I'm not easily tempted by food which makes things so hard.

This video is OUTSTANDINGLY AWESOME!!! Learned so much. I just need to make sure my calculations are correct. I am 53, 144lbs - 5'7 and my goal weight is 135 lbs. The Calorie Intake - I calculated is X10 - 1350 and X12 - 1620. I am going to follow the 1620. Is this correct? My Protein - I calculated 100.8 grams - is that correct? Should I be measuring our my chicken breast on a scale daily? Thanks so much for your help!

I'm back using my fitness pal. I'm 230 and chose a deficit of 1600 calories but lately I keep eating 1900 calories. Well I guess that's ok because I'm still losing weight. Plusi do an hour of Tae Bo everyday.I love your channel I'm so glad I found you 💗

i'll give an update as soon i hit my goal weight
current weight: 160lbs
goal weight: 150lbs
calories: 1700-1800calories

once i hit 150lbs. next goal is 140lbs until i reach 130lbs 🙏

Thank you so much for your instruction videos on this topic, you’re always spot on and direct to the point, I love it! Just a question, could you include/ or show the amount of protein and goal bodyweight x10-12 for people who use kg as well?
I’m pretty sure the calculation will be a bit different and I don’t want to get it wrong!
