My daughter has autism and I noticed when she takes cod liver oil Nordic Naturals her handwriting improves, you can really notice the difference when she hasn't taken cod liver oil. I noticed she is more calm. I also have her on a special diet no wheat or dairy as well.

I take hemp omega 369. It helped with my anxiety. I was starting to go into paranoia. I live where there is alot of violence and craziness, also the fireworks from the 4th didnt help. I was on edge all the time. Anyway this helped sooo much.

I love seasoning and baking salmon. I should have gotten one after work. I make sure it's in my weekly diet. I loved salmon when I was a kid.

I have Ankylosing Spondylitis which causes extreme inflammation, mainly in the spine, hips and neck. I read a study was done on people who have AS taking Omega 3. One group was given 2, 000mg of Omega 3 and the other 4, 500mg per day over a period of time (can'tremember length of the study). The results showed a significant decrease in symptoms for the group that received 4, 500mg and no change to the 2, 000mg group. I am definitely going to up my daily dosage to see if it helps.

I found that if I keep the fish oil pills in the refrigerator, I don’t taste them later. I was faithfully taking about 4 grams but got out of the habit. About a month or two later I find my dry eyes have returned. So fish oil helps that too.

With regular 1000mg fish oil capsule you are getting actually only 300 mg of EPA and DHA. Daily requirement is 2000 mg- 3000 mg EPA and DHA. Pharmaceutical grade Nutra sea oil is great. ( with lemon or green apple, no burping, no dioxins)

As vegan option: there is algae oil containing EPA and DHA. I heard fish oil can be problematic due to hard metal contamination. Plant based omega 3 is always ALA which can be converted into EPA and DHA but the rate is low and there are different rates in studies to be found. Plant based omega 3 with EPA and DHA, which we need, is to my knowledge only found in algea based omega oil products.
