Talking about english, in my 12th standard there was a lesson named "The Last Lesson". It was a story about France when they were under attack from the germans and germans had imposed German language on French people. In that lesson it was said that a country which loses its language loses their heritage and history and become slaves of other nations

One thing I would like to say that you are so genuine because you have an English orientated channel and even you just speak out the goodness of our mother tongue that we should respect our mother tongue and do not feel low with it . I appreciate the values within you. Thank you ma'am ☺️🇮🇳

Hey, You are absolutely right. You know what I was talking with my sister regarding the same today. We, Indians, have hyped English so much that it's no more a language. It's a tool that many of us are using to judge others. "oh ise dekho ye hindi mein baat karta hai", "hindi mein caption kon daalta hai. Lagta hai english nahi janta", "gawaar hai ye toh". These are just a few of the examples cum experiences I have had. English is just a language just like hindi, punjabi, bhojpuri or gujarati. Just like you said, No language can bring the right emotions other than your own mother tongue. English is a language, Hindi is an emotion.

In my opinion, Speaking English has become a trend in India, maybe that's the reason we are also determined to speak this language in all situations. If I take my own instance that from the past few weeks, I've doing everything in English; watching English shows, movies and animes every now and then, talking to my friends in the same language. However, I am quite glad that my parents and other people living around me speak with me in Hindi so as to not let this language become out of mind, out of sight for me. Lastly, I'd like to say that It's nice to speak in English as long as we don't forget our roots.

You are actually right i think people who start conversation in english with strangers especially in North India they just wanted to show off nothing else coz in North everybody knows Hindi very well .but in south sometimes people doesn't know proper Hindi so this could be logical with them to start English conversation.but being an Indian i also love and respect my language.

Yeah, you are absolutely right. I think anyone should speak English only in an official place, but not every place unnecessarily. We should love to speak our mother language and should proud on it 🙂🙂🙂

Your complaint is valid against Hindi also.
a) Hindi speakers must STOP uploading videos on youtube with English titles, then speaking in Hindi in the videos. This seems to be a little trick they are using to increase view counts, but it is annoying a lot of people world wide who are being deceived.
b) North Indians please STOP going to southern India and speak in Hindi, then worse trying to shame the local people there if they don't speak it or are not fluent in it. What makes this recent regional language (that has no ancient history in India) so special, that 'everyone in India must use it as the lingua franca of the nation' ?

I also have seen the same kind of incident few months back when i went to a hospital. There's a lady who was talking to a patient's parent in English, actually she was helping him but kept talking to him in English knowing that he is not comfortable in the language and when her father came him she starts talking in hindi. I mean when u can speak in hindi with your father why can't with that man. We all should make the other person feel comfortable while talking in our daily life.
You are such an inspirational person I just love your content.

Completely agree with you on people automatically switching to English to enhance their importance in that very moment!
But the fact is "Speaking fluent English is not a sign of being intelligent."
