So the downside is eating sugar because your body wants more? Then it sounds like coke zero is fine as long as you don't partake in addition sugary foods on the side.

I'm pre-diabetic and I check my blood sugar levels 2 to 4 times a day. Not a single diet drink with Aspartame, including Coke Zero, has ever spiked my blood sugar levels. In fact, they rarely even raise it all. Because I'm pre-diabetic, I am on a low carb, low sugar, high protein, high fiber diet. I like soda. When I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes, my choice was to give soda up altogether or switch to diet sodas. So I switched to diet sodas. I drink water. I drink milk. I drink non-sugary juices. But I like soda with my dinner. In the past, I've lost 30lbs on this diet WITH the diet sodas with Aspartame in them. I maintain and still lose weight on this diet. Eat protien and eat fiber and you get the energy you need and the satisfaction of feeling full. Maybe you should do your own research and interview people who actually have to live on these diets everyday. Sure, if you drink Coke Zero and then eat a two Double Whoppers and a helping of large fries, you're probably going to gain weight. But if you drink a Coke Zero and eat a lean fat turkey burger on a whole grain, high fiber hamburger bun with a nice size side helping of almond flour French fries dipped in a no sugar added ketchup, you're getting lots of protein, a nice helping of fiber, and nearly no carbs or sugar. You're going to be satisfied, and you're not going to pack on the weight. How would I know? Because I do this every single day. Protien for energy, fiber for sustained satisfaction against hunger, and low carbs and sugars to drop the weight. I'm pre-diabetic because I didn't take care of myself. That's my fault. This diet, with Aspartame, has helped me drop the weight, drop my A1C to near normal levels, and has made me feel healthier than I've felt in years.

So basically the coke zero wont make you gain weight itself but the craving for sugar after you drink one will? So basically its about self control when drinking a coke zero.

Calories in minus calories out. If you drink/ eat less calories you WILL lose weight. It's that simple. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either ignorant or trying to sell you a narrative/ product.

I have been on Keto for 2 months now and was struggling with sugar cravings. I switched to Diet Coke and didn’t gain weight. In fact as today morning, 6Kg are off.

Hey, this was professionally made nice job.In my particular case, I’m 6’2 230, I drink a ton of Coke Zero and I have never craved other sweets. I don’t eat candy at all, or any junk food. Beside the occasion fast food. I drink it to justify not running because that’s my least favorite thing to do. My abs are outlining, I’ve still got a bit of love handles. Your video is making me question if I need to give it up, or just get on the treadmill lol.

I drink soda regularly (almost solely with lunch and dinner), an I honestly prefer Coke Zero over normal coke
If you’ve seen test videos on the Internet, you know about the comparison of boiling a 16.9oz bottle of Coke zero and normal Coke, Coke Zero has an extremely tiny amount after you boil all of the liquid out, meanwhile normal Coca-Cola becomes a pile of black crusty sludge once all the liquids boiled out.
Also personally… I just like the taste of Coke zero more🤷‍♂️

My son has type 1 diabetes and occasionally he will have a Sprite zero and it doesnt raise his blood sugar. That's why I switched from coke to coke zero. Also, I have noticed that when I have one with my dinner, i eat way less than if I have dinner without one. The coke zero fills me up way faster.

I've ate a calorie deficit and have drank 2-3 coke zero's every day for 6 months and I have consistently lost 1-2 lbs a week. I used to weigh 225, and i now weigh 185. So i'm going to have to disagree with this assessment.

So scientifically it DOES NOT make you gain weight but only create a craving for sugar. Yeah I’m sticking to diet and zero sodas all day

Thanks for your video. Its helped me to understand alot. Goodness even learnt a bit about aspartame. Its been just over 24 hours since i gave Coke Zero the boot because i could not come to terms with the bloating and the weight gaining. I've been drinking Coke Zero for quite a while now and I was never a coke drinker. I used to drink juice alot and then went for a diabetes checkup and found i had stage 2 diabetes. Got myself back to square one and balanced myself out till i started wanting soda, so added that COke Zero to my diet thinking all was good. But it seems no so good, like everyone here we all have our own story to tell, each one has differences to our bodies that act differently to this product. This has definitely made me want to continue on with my journey without Coke Zero in my life and enjoy water and milk in its place. That Zevia I may look into if its available in New Zealand.

as long as you don't over indulge on drinks and foods, and you work out regularly you should be fine to drink a pop every once in awhile

I’m guessing everyone’s body responds differently. I used to drink a lot of regular soda. So I would drink most of my calories. I’m doing keto and intermittent fasting and have a zero soda sometimes. I think it’s one of those things though if you have it a lot that could be cause for concern. But if you have one a day perhaps it could work. I’m not overweight but I have lost 13 pounds in about 5 weeks. I started doing keto and intermittent fasting because I knew I needed to be healthy. It has had so many other tremendous effects.

I've done the OMAD diet to lose 20lbs. From 160lb to 140lb. And now I do it 3 to 4 times a week for mataniece. Coke Zero helps me to get my daily fix. If you have a Coke Zero during your feeding window, you're going to be fine. However I do understand that it can trigger your insulin during the fasted state. Thank you for the advice sir!
